History & Mission
City Summit was founded by the late Ryan Long to educate and inspire socially conscious entrepreneurs with tools and techniques for success. Ryan wanted his City Network Community to learn, grow and thrive, so they are better positioned to give to their own communities.
Ryan worked for almost 10 years to support entrepreneurs and startup charities working every day in communities that need them most, Executive Producing hundreds of business acceleration experiences around the country leading to his Annual City Summit & Gala. Events featured leaders in business and entertainment from Jack Canfield, Richard Branson, Jeff Hoffman, Ashton Kutcher, and John Paul DeJoria, to Halle Berry, John Travolta, Quincy Jones and James Cameron.
Moving Forward
Ryan's mission will carry on through the independent work of the City Network Community of thousands inspired to take action in helping move humanity forward.
Ryan's mother - Donna Shepard - has also re-established his Global Unity Foundation as a 501c3 Tax Exempt organization to continue Ryan's legacy of supporting socially conscious entrepreneurs and start-up charities around the world.
